The area of Fath Abad garden reaches 13 hectares and the infrastructure of its building reaches 1500 meters. This building has an European and Iranian style and various agricultural lands and gardens are located around it. In such a way that when you enter the mansion of Fath Abad, it seems you enter heaven. At the beginning of your entrance to this garden, there is a large pond in front of you, which is about 60 meters and the reflection of the building falls on the water of the pond, and you can take wonderful photos.
1- The main building of Fath Abad Garden
The main building of Fath Abad Garden is located at the northern end of the garden and has two main floors. This building with arches on both sides of the mansion and three-door and five-door rooms in the middle of the complex has created a unique effect. The materials used in this building are all made of raw clay and mud mortar and a layer of chalk is covered on it. The interior part of this garden also has very beautiful plastering. The rooms of this historical building are decorated in the style of traditional Qajar rooms and are beautifully lit, the most famous of which is the Shah – neshin room (special place for kings).
2- Museum of Rulers
The Museum of Rulers is one of the valuable parts of the Fath Abad Garden where a collection of biographies and pictures of rulers of Kerman is kept.
3- Painting room
There is a painting room in the main mansion of Bagh-e Fath Abad which used to be the residence of the ruler of Kerman. All around this room there are very exquisite paintings and murals. In addition to painting, gold water decorations were also used in them, some of which were stolen. Of course, there are still some of these murals. Currently, the doors of this room are closed until the renovation and installation of glass on the paintings will be completed.
4- Four-season mansion
Move 30 meters east of the main building; You can see the four-season mansion with a floor, a central dome and columned porches that give a special effect to the garden complex. The brickwork and plasterwork of this structure are so beautiful that watching them takes the visitors’ minds and makes them admire Iranian art. Today, this room has a VIP use and is rented to people for various ceremonies and celebrations.
5- Plants for cultivating herbal medicines
Kerman is very famous for its herbal medicines and this type of medicine is one of the main souvenirs of this province. During the reconstruction of the Fath Abad Garden, the authorities tried to dedicate part of the garden to cultivation of medicinal plants in order to use the capacities of the lands around the garden, as well as to generate income for the complex and to cover the expenses incurred for it. It is good to know that this complex is the largest cultivation complex of medicinal plants in the country and its plant diversity does not exist anywhere else.
