15-day Iran nomad tour is a combination of joining with seasonal migration of Bakhtiari tribe and staying for a while with Qashqai tribe. This amazing tour will make it possible to visit Kouch or movement of Iran nomad as well as living with nomad for a while.

Note: Accompanying with nomad requires bravery, physical fitness and fighter spirit. During this trip due to the season of Kuch and crossing from highlands, unstable weather conditions will definitely happen. The activity level of this tour is high almost 10/10.

On the one hand, first part of 15-day Iran nomad tour is to come along with Bakhtiaris in their migration. You will experience a simple, and nomadic life style in nature. Where everything is natural and people stick to their customs.
On the other hand, staying with Qashqai tribe as a part of this tour enables you to come along with Qashqai tribe in their place of living. You will experience a simple, and nomadic life style in nature. Where everything is natural and people stick to their customs. Itinerary

Day 01: Tehran arrival

Arrival: you will meet your tour-guide at the airport. After meeting, you will be transferred to your hotel for rest.

Day 02: Tehran city tour

After having breakfast, you will head to visit the Golestan Palace, one of the historical sites of Iran, which inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. The glories and excesses of the Qajar rulers are played out across this complex of grand buildings decorated with beautifully painted tiles and set around an elegant garden.
You will continue your Tehran tour by visiting the National Museum of Iran including two complexes, the Museum of Ancient Iran and the Islamic Art Museum. In Islamic Art museum, you will observe a collection of Qurans as well as other manuscripts showing calligraphic styles and paintings, textiles, ceramics, etc.
Then, you will come back to the hotel (Drop-off to the hotel).
For evening, you will visit and discover the Sa’dabad Museum Complex located in the north of Tehran. After the Iranian Revolution, the complex became a museum that manifest the rich history of Iran. In this complex, you will visit and discover the green and white palaces. For a glimpse into the luxurious life of the shahs, do not miss the extravagant 54-room White Palace, built in the 1930s. The more classical-looking Green Palace dates from the end of the Qajar era. After that, you will have a break time. Then, you will be driven to Grand bazar to meet locals and buy souvenirs.

In the early morning your driver guide will pick you up through Isfahan. This amazing city will be waiting for you to visit one of the most beautiful cities of art, history, architecture, and nature all in one trip. After checking in hotel, and get some rest you will visit Armenian district. Vank cathedral would be another attraction that you will amaze by. After that you can walking down the nice bridges of 33-pol and Khaju, meeting locals and having some quality time photo shooting of Isfahan.
Then you will come back to hotel.

You will have pick-up from the hotel at 09:00 AM
You will visit and discover the beauty of Chehel Sotoun Palace that was built by Shah Abbas II.
Next up is Naqsh-e Jahan Square, a UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. In this square, you will continue your day by visiting Imam Mosque as a masterpiece of Islamic architecture and that is easily recognizable by its magnificent tile-work.
Then, you will visit Ali-qapu Palace. The Ali-qapu Palace is the largest palace that may exist in a capital. Therefore, it can be said that, this palace was considered the best of the world's palaces, during the Safavid period. Its contents were on all the benefits and merits and include what was necessary for a royal palace.
Then, you will lunch in nice restaurant in square
After lunch, you will head to visit Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque that is one of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture and it is located in the eastern side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square. You will continue your day by exploring the Naghsh-e Jahan Square and you will have free time for shopping there. After that you will go to hotel.

After having breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from hotel in order to transfer to Khuzestan. Khuzestan is the center of Bakhtiri tribes. After arrival you will check in hotel to get enough rest for start your big journey.

Day 06: Join Bakhtiari seasonal migration (Kouch)

In the morning, a local tour guide will accompany your group to join you to the main route of tribal migration. You will start coming along with the migration with horses or by walking. All the meals will be traditional food and people in tribes are so hospitable, hosting you with what they have.
Overnight: camping on the way or rural houses

Day 07: Bakhtiari Kouch

you will accompany the group for following days. They cross pathways and sometimes they need to smooth their way. In this trip you will get to know the real nomad lifestyle.

Day 08: Bakhtiari Kouch

Imagine opening your eyes with the sound of roosters singing, having goat milk, watching hard-working women of tribes, and facing the same challenges they face every day. In this trip you will feel the peace and quiet of the group even in difficulties. Being far from modern life and staying original will amaze you.

Day 09: Bakhtiari Kouch

For the last day you can buy many souvenirs and organic honey, dairy, and hand-made products.

Your tour guide will transfer you to Shiraz. Fars state is the most important center of Qashqai tribe stay. After your arrival you will check in hotel and get enough rest to start the real journey.

Day11: joining nomad

In addition to your tour guide, a local guide will join you and bring you to join nomads in their tents. After many years of migration between places, nomads will stay in some points for a while which is the best time to come along them and live with them like a member of family. You can visit women who spend most of their time making food or knitting. You can also help men collecting cattle, or working hard to secure the place.

Day 12: stay with Qashqai nomad

In the early morning, you will open your eyes with the sound of birds singing and flock grazing. Your breakfast will be organic butter which is made be hand, or goat cheese with fresh bread and warm tea. Everything there taste amazingly delicious as it is come from the heart of nature. You will hack into their life deeply by helping them and learning how to cook like nomads. For lunch, they will host you by local and traditional food.
In the evening, you can see sunset which makes beautiful sceneries. At night full-star sky near the fire with nomads singing will make a peaceful place where you never want to leave.

Day 13: stay with Qashqai nomad

In the last day of being with nomads, there are a lot of activities to do. You can also prepare souvenirs to memorize this journey for ever. You can join nomads in grazing flocks and help them in their routine task which can be challenging to be done.

In the last day of joining Iran nomads, your local guide with the assistance of your tour guide will accompany you through Shiraz. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight through Tehran.

What clothes and footwear should I take on treks?
On a more physical trip like this, hiking boots are definitely recommended. In most of the trip hiking boots or sneakers/runners will be adequate.
